ESTABLISHING SHOP BY INTEREST
Conceptualizing, shaping and implementing the design roadmap for a multi-million customer experience.
Shop by Interest is a social shopping experience on Amazon which features videos, photos and collections from creators and brands, organized into interest-based feeds. This program was born with the goal to make online shopping more fun and social — through community, content and commerce.
I acted as the sole design program manager for this product for two years, leading the design team and collaborating with product and tech through several product launches such as: introducing personalized content to the Shop by Interest landing page, integration with the Inspire experience, and a program rebrand.
My role —
Leading the design team & determining project prioritization
Created, managed and implemented the design team’s roadmap and backlog.
Led prioritization discussions to determine the strategic sequencing of CX projects based on customer benefit, business goals, and level of engineering effort.

Represented the design team in correspondence with project leaders and stakeholders through regular executive updates and reviews.
Product visioning & roadmap implementation

Facilitated several design thinking workshop series with design, product and tech stakeholders.
Defined the product vision to be used in developing subsequent product roadmaps.
Captained product vision materials to be presented to senior leaders.
